An example of Redis persistence using Node.js and Docker Compose

In the previous example we have seen how to manually deploy with Docker a Node.js microservice to interact with Redis.

Now let’s see how to simplify the deploy of this app using Docker Compose.
We will also take the opportunity to see how Redis persistence works.

An example of microservice to interact with Redis using Node.js and Docker

In this really basic example I show how is simple to write a microservice in Node.js to get and set key value pairs on Redis and to deploy them using Docker containers.

Coming Soon

Welcome to my new blog!

The first post will come in a few days and will talk about how simple is to develop and deploy a webservice to interact with Redis using Node.js and Docker.

Next I’ll talk about how to deploy it using Docker Compose and managing and resizing it via Kubernetes!

See you soon!
